Capital Area Transit (CAT) is the regional transit authority serving the Capital Area, including the major cities of Queen City and Colerain. CAT provides light rail, commuter rail, and bus service. Like all mass transit systems in Centralia, CAT does not charge fares, providing all services free of charge.

CAT's central office in Queen City is Kitty Corner, a moderately large skyscraper with upper floors shaped like cat ears.

Services

Bus

CAT buses are easily recognizable by their large cat ears. Bus routes are denoted by emoji rather than numbers. For example, the 🎭 line serves the theatre district of Queen City, while the 🎓 line serves the university district of Colerain.

Light rail

TODO: Expand on CAT's light rail service.

Commuter rail

CAT commuter rail service connects various communities and neighborhoods within the Capital Area. Princess Alice and other Dame Adorabelle's Academy students often use CAT rail service to travel between Havensborough Union Station and downtown Queen City during weekends and school breaks.
