Sterling Township is a township of Union County in the Zeor state of Lakeland, located on the shore of one of the state's namesake lakes. Sterling Township is the home of the famous teenage detective Hybris.
The largest community in Sterling Township is the unincorporated Sterling Heights, home to Jessica Fletcher Memorial High School.
Nobody is really sure why so many murders happen in Sterling Township. Or why anyone really wants to continue to live there despite the staggering rate of violent crime. Hybris looks really cool and smart when she figures out who did it, though!
Geography
Sterling Township lies on the lake shore at the junction of Zeoria Route 60 (Lambdadelta Avenue / Bernkastel Avenue) and State Route 41 (Pleasant Street), about 14 miles north of Mount Pleasant.

- 221 W. Baker Street: Hybris's residence, located near the center of Sterling Heights.
- Sterling Heights Middle School: Middle school attended by Nanami Takahashi and previously Hybris and AJ Ravenswood.
- Sterling Township Volunteer Fire Department (VFD): The local fire department. Obviously. Located next to the Sheriff's Office at the center of Sterling Heights.
- Union County District Library: Public library.
- Union County Sheriff's Office: Police station, workplace of Sheriff Ford Lincoln Mercury and his deputies. Located at the central crossroads of Leroy Street and Pleasant Street in Sterling Heights.
