AJ Ravenswood is a high school student from Sterling Heights, an unincorporated community in Lakeland, Zeoria. She is best friends with Hybris, the so-called "Sweet Tooth Detective". AJ's twin brother is Alistair R. Ravenwood.

Despite what many assume, AJ is a name, not initials, and thus is not short for any longer name.

Appearance

AJ is a tall, skinny 16-year-old girl with messy pink hair, usually held back in a ponytail.

Personality

AJ is extremely hyperactive. Many find her sheer energy overwhelming. She is easily distracted and seems to have trouble focusing on anything she doesn't find especially interesting. She often speaks nonsensically, with Hybris noting that she seems to exist in a reality of her own.

Activities

AJ is a junior at Fletcher High School in Sterling Township. AJ often walks around the school with a guitar case slung over her back, though she gets weirdly defensive if anyone asks if there's actually a guitar in it.

AJ is the guitarist for a local rock band named The Strawbs (FRZ), which is legally distinct from any other bands named "Strawbs" that may or may not exist in other universes. ¹

Somehow, despite everything, AJ managed to convince the Lakeland Bureau of Motor Vehicles to issue her a valid driver's license. She can often be seen cruising about town in her 1964½ Mustang convertible.

Relationships

AJ's best friend is Hybris, the so-called "Sweet Tooth Detective". AJ often accompanies Hybris in her investigations, though, by her own admission, she tends to get Hybris's way. In some cases, however, AJ's eccentricity has led her to stumble across an important clue Hybris herself has missed.
