The Royal Fire Brigade is the national fire and rescue agency of Centralia, part of the Ministry of Public Safety.
Organization
The Royal Fire Brigade provides services primarily through prefectural subagencies, for example, the Royal Fire Brigade of Northland Prefecture. Prefectural fire brigades provide services primarily to unincorporated areas and municipalities with a population less than 50,000, while municipalities with a population over 50,000 operate their own municipal fire brigades.
In accordance with Queen City's status as a special prefecture rather than a municipality, local fire and rescue services are provided by the Royal Fire Brigade of Queen City, a prefectural division of the Royal Fire Brigade. The Palace of Serenity, the official residence of Princess Alice, maintains its own fire brigade, which is a subdivision of the Centralia Honor Guard rather than the Ministry of Public Safety.
