Robin's Nest Toys

Robin's Nest Toys is an exceptionally large toy store in the Serenity Circle neighborhood in downtown Queen City, near Princess Alice's Palace of Serenity. Its owner is the eccentric Doctor Robin, the princess's royal toymaker.

Description

Robin's Nest Toys occupies an entire city block within the Serenity Circle. The main entrance, facing the Palace of Serenity, is marked with a large sculpture featuring various toys. The specific toys depicted in the sculpture seem to change every day, and some have said that two people can look at the sculpture at the same time and see two different sets of toys.

The store comprises several floors, each of which is largely dedicated to one department. The video game department, for example, is located on the lowest level, below the ground floor, while tabletop games and board games occupy the fourth floor. The floors are connected by large golden escalators and an old-fashioned elevator. The elevator seems to be larger on the inside, with Doctor Robin often bringing as many as a dozen people with her in the elevator during tours.

An elaborate model railway runs throughout the entire store, with several trains running at any given time. Each train is equipped with a camera broadcasting a live feed to an array of CRT displays in the store's cafe.
