Off The Rails Coffee

Off The Rails Coffee is a coffee and doughnut shop located in Havensborough Union Station in downtown Havensborough, a few blocks from Dame Adorabelle's Academy. The shop is frequented by Dame Adorabelle's faculty and staff, including Professor Forneus and The Headmistress.

The shop's owner pointedly refuses service to Princess Alice as the result of an unspecified incident that apparently occurred some years ago. Details of the incident have never been made public, though the shop owner has revealed that the incident was the impetus for the creation of the Centralia Honor Guard's dedicated Caffeinated Princess Response Team.

That hasn't stopped Princess Alice from trying to purchase coffee at Off the Rails, but all staff are trained to recognize the princess even in her various disguises, including when she turned herself into an "adult" to blend in. (She forgot to change out of her school uniform first.) A large poster behind the counter features a portrait of the Princess behind a "no" symbol and the text DO NOT SERVE THIS PRINCESS. Much to the Princess's chagrin, the portrait on the poster magically updates itself to reflect her current appearance, regardless of any disguise she may attempt.

Sometimes the staff take pity on her and offer her a bottle of orange juice or a cup of ice water, but don't you dare tell the shop owner about that.
