Noel Serlylight is a student at the Zeoria Institute of Technology in Bowling Green, Lakeland.
Noel's younger sister, Dawn, visits her in Bowling Green most weekends. Unfortunately, Dawn has a tendency to bring Hybris along, and for some reason, a murder tends to happen at ZIT any time Hybris is present. On at least one occasion, Noel herself was accused of the crime, though Hybris—with some help from Dawn—was able to exonerate her.
During the investigation of a murder at the Bowling Green Casino, Noel relayed information to Hybris, who was not permitted to enter the casino because she is underage.
