Nanami Takanashi is an eighth grade student at Sterling Heights Middle School in Union County, Lakeland, Zeoria.

Nanami's father works at the First Zeoria Bank office in Sterling Township. Her mother still lives in Japan, but she regularly ships Nanami care packages containing, among other things, her favorite Japanese candy.

In her free time, Nanami performs as the bassist of The Strawbs (FRZ), a local cover band led by her friend AJ Ravenswood.
