IRIS

The Intelligence, Research and Investigations Service (IRIS) is a secretive government agency in Edge City.

Under the supervision of Edge City governor Andrew S. Stanton, IRIS carries out various clandestine experiments of questionable ethics. Presumably Stanton's goal is to help himself amass more power, or retain the power he has, or some such thing. It's not entirely clear. Maybe he just likes messing with people.

Wormwood middle school student Rido Lenni acquired psychic powers after accidentally intruding upon an IRIS experiment at Leawood Memorial Hospital. IRIS Special Agent Minerva Park has been tasked with tracking down and monitoring Rido, with the help of the agency's "men in black".
