Ciaran is a fictional character in the Centralian supernatural teen drama series Stellar.
Ciaran professes to be a thousand-year-old witch with power rivaling that of series protagonist Stella Winterborn, the prophesied savior of humanity. She has amassed a group of loyal followers known as The Gold Ties, so named for their "uniform" of a black dress shirt with a gold tie. The Gold Ties consist primarily of young apprentice witches who serve as a loosely organized paramilitary force, with the aim of enforcing Ciaran's will upon the students of New Salem High School.
The climactic episode of Ciaran's arc reveals that she is, in fact, not a thousand-year-old witch, but a 16-year-old human with no magical powers who managed to swindle a small group of actual witches into doing her bidding.
