A long time ago, in a boring place called Ohio, an autistic nerd named [[users/CentralAvenue|Central Avenue]] got bored and made up a country, with herself as its omnipotent, immortal ruler. For some reason, all her friends decided to play along, and pretty soon they had a collaborative worldbuilding project on their hands. And so [[Centralia]] was born!

Princess Alice, being a construct of pure magic, has immense supernatural ability...which she mostly uses to torment adults for her own amusement. To learn how to control and more effectively use her powers, Princess Alice attends '''[[Dame Adorabelle's Academy]]''', a magical boarding school that's about as pretentious as you would expect. When she's not at school, the princess can be found at her official residence, the '''[[Palace of Serenity]]''', in '''[[Queen City]]''', the national capital.

The nature of Centralia, and the world it inhabits, is intentionally fluid: we are literally making it up as we go along. It's all one big game of make-believe. It doesn't have to make any sense, and any unfortunate implications can simply be swept aside in the name of childlike whimsy. That is to say: I'm the main character, and even ''I'' don't take it too seriously, so you shouldn't either.
