The Carly Robin Show is a Centralian sitcom television series, created by Carly Robin Ravenswood, who also stars as the title character. The series follows the exploits of Carly Robin Ripley 1 , an "ordinary" high school student living in South Harmony, Queen City.
Characters
Carly Robin Ripley (Carly Robin Ravenswood)
- An exuberant high school student, heavily inspired by Ravenswood's own life. Some network executives suspect footage in some episodes is just actual footage of Ravenswood's everyday life. Ravenswood refuses to comment on these rumors.
Alistair Ripley (Alistair R. Ravenwood)
- Carly Robin's twin brother. He is often mistaken for her boyfriend because he and Carly Robin often play love interests in school theater productions.
Production
The Carly Robin Show was created by Carly Robin Ravenswood, who based the main character, Carly Robin Ripley, on her own experiences as a high school student in South Harmony, Queen City. Despite being set in Queen City, most filming takes place at the Strawberry Studios lot in Sunset Valley.
The show's opening song is a cover of "What Is Life" by George Harrison, performed by Ravenswood's band, the Strawberry Jams!! Each episode's end credits sequence features a different cover song by the Strawberry Jams!!
