Rory Pike is a fictional vampire character in the Centralian teen drama Stellar, portrayed by Carly Robin Ravenswood.
Backstory
Rory Pike was born over 1000 years ago as the human prince of a kingdom called Corbeau. When the prince was 14, his father, the King of Corbeau, was stricken with a terminal illness. The prince, fearing the burden and responsibility of becoming the new king, became a vampire—and a girl, for some reason—and fled Corbeau.
Today, Rory Pike resides in the town of New Salem, where she masquerades as an ordinary middle school student, though she never actually attends school. Her primary residence is the Rising Sun Motel, a long-abandoned motel on Old Highway 30 on the outskirts of town.
Name
Rory explains her full name, Aurora Southern Pike, as having been "stolen from a street sign." She never reveals her birth name, referring to her former human self solely as "The Prince".
Production
Rory Pike is portrayed by Queen City actress Carly Robin Ravenswood. Notably, in Carly Robin also plays the Prince of Corbeau in Rory's daymare flashbacks to her previous life—one of Carly Robin's few male roles.
Rory Pike was introduced in season 1 of Stellar as a recurring character and remained a recurring character through season 2. From season 3 onwards, Rory was brought on as a member of the main cast, appearing in nearly every episode through season 5.
