"Psychic Push-to-Talk" is Madison Ravenswood's name for the telepathic link she shares with Rido Sterling.

After Rido developed psychic powers as the result of an accident at Leawood Memorial Hospital, he and his best friend Madison soon discovered they could communicate telepathically. After some experimentation, they determined that they do not hear all of each other's thoughts, but only those that are consciously broadcast, and only when they are within a certain physical distance of each other. Madison dubbed this power the "psychic push-to-talk", based on its similarity in function to a portable two-way radio.

Madison and Rido initially assumed their psychic link was private between the two of them. However, Lyonel Harper was later able to eavesdrop on their telepathic conversation while dining at a Dolly's restaurant. The three kids eventually determined that broadcast thoughts can be received by any individual who possesses the power of a "transceiver".
