In 202X, Chordelia was briefly detained by Sergeant Plymouth on suspicion of murder after their band's drummer was killed during a show at the Lakeland State Fair. Teen detective Hybris was able to clear Chordelia's name upon noticing that Chordelia plays guitar left-handed, contradicting the testimony of the band's manager, Robinson, who saw someone she presumed to be Chordelia playing an acoustic guitar right-handed.

During the investigation, Hybris became one of few people outside the band's inner circle to have seen Chordelia unmasked. As much as Hybris would love to brag about this to everyone she knows, she reluctantly respects Chordelia's privacy.
