Xandra is a fictional high school student from the Centralian supernatural teen drama series Stellar, played by Zeor actress Katherine Lee Hayes.

Role in series

Stellar fans have noted that most characters seem to display some level of rudeness towards Xandra for no apparent reason. Stella Winterborn seemingly regards her as some kind of rival, despite her generally polite and cordial demeanor towards her and Rudolf.

Xandra is especially close with Laura Aashto, the introverted neurodivergent Detective who spends all day in the library at New Salem High School. She is fiercely protective of Laura, going to such lengths as single-handedly breaking into The Inquisitors' hideout armed with only a baseball bat to attempt to free Laura from captivity.

A running gag throughout the series involves Xandra's apparent history of juvenile delinquency. While none of her crimes are directly depicted, vague references are made throughout the series.

  • Elder Witch: I've already told you, Young Ms. Winterborn. You may not obtain the reagents until you are of age.
  • Stella: Seriously? Come on, man, I'm trying to brew an invisibility potion here, not build a bomb!
  • Xandra: Yeah, none of this stuff is anything like what I'd use to build a bomb!
  • (Stella and the Elder Witch both turn and stare at Xandra incredulously)
  • Xandra: What? At least I passed 10th grade chemistry.

From season 4 onward, Xandra is employed part-time at Calvin's Pizza.

Name

Xandra's full name was unknown prior to the season 3 finale, in which Laura Aashto refers to Alexandra DuBois during a confrontation with Marlowe St. Vincent. A later episode, however, included Alexandria DuBois among the names listed in the New Salem High School student roster on a computer terminal. Neither name has appeared since.

In a season 4 episode, Xandra's old friend from elementary school greets her as Lexi.

  • Childhood friend: Oh my gosh, Lexi! Oh, Lexi, I haven't seen you in forever! Did you bleach your hair?
  • Stella: LEXI??
  • Xandra: There's more than one way to shorten my name, you know.
