The City of Colerain is Centralia's second-largest city, and home of TheUniversityOfCentralia's main campus. About two hours' drive from QueenCity by car, it is one of the two major cities that make up the CaptialArea.

Colerain's mayor, ElleHawthorne, is the youngest politician to hold a democratic office in Centralia's history, having been elected at age 8.
