South Harmony is a suburban neighborhood in southwest Queen City, at the junction of Bubblegum Beltway (C-200) and Mendenhall and Caldwell Roads (C-2/C-3). The area was annexed into Queen City in the early 1960s, when residential and commercial development began.
Today, South Harmony is primarily residential, with the largest retail development, Cloverleaf Mall, having closed in the late 1990s. The mall infamously stands abandoned to this day. Despite the suburban nature of South Harmony, traces of its rural past remain, such as a farmhouse located near Cherry Valley Drive and Mendenhall Road.
