Asterians are extraterrestrial beings from the planet Asteria.
Physiology
Asterians' bodies are composed entirely of concentrated magic, though nobody—including the Asterians themselves—are quite sure what that means. It is debatable whether this qualifies as a physical form.
Human appearance
When Asterians arrive on a foreign planet, their inherent magic alters other beings' perception of their appearance—as well of their own perception of themselves—to blend in with the planet's native species. Thus, most Asterians on Earth appear identical to humans, though a few appear as wolves instead. The true form of Asterians is unknown, even to Asterians.
Diet
Most Asterians subsist almost entirely on sweets. PrincessAlice currently holds the world record for eating the most candy in a day, even among Asterians.
A small number of Asterians, including Drusilla, instead subsist primarily on salty foods.
