PrincOS is an operating system developed by AlicornSystems.

History

PrincOS was originally developed under the name Project Himesama. It only really exists because some programmers at Alicorn got really bored one day and challenged each other to build a working operating system using only 0s and no 1s. One of them cheated and used a 2. Everyone else in the office demanded that guy buy them a pizza. By the time the pizza deliver arrived, everybody had forgotten about Project Himesama. When the programmers realized they didn't have a tip for the delivery driver, they gave him the flash drive with Project Himesama on it instead.

Licensing and availability

PrincOS is not sold commerically or officially distributed. The only way to install and run PrincOS is to pirate it. Despite this, PrincOS has become the most popular desktop operating system in Centralia, in both consumer and enterprise applications.
