FaeFone is a line of smartphones developed by the Hacker Fairy, primarily used by Fairies.

The FaeFone user interface is considered notoriously cryptic and user-unfriendly by most non-fairies. The lock screen, for example, consists of a keypad filled with a seemingly random selection of emoji, some of which are rotated in seemingly arbitrary directions, with no indication of what interaction will unlock the phone. Despite this, most fairies not only understand the user interface, but find it simple and intuitive.

FaeFones make use of a proprietary charger, which sparkles pink while charging the battery. Fully charging a FaeFone battery may take up to two days.

The FaeFone 4 is the only mobile phone certified by the SafetyFairy for everyday use, as it is the only model with a battery she has stress-tested to her satisfaction. The Safety Fairy seemingly has no interest in testing any later model of phone, despite the FaeFone 4 having been released over 7 years ago and lacking support for the latest version of the FaeFone operating system.

FaeFones are available for purchase by mortals, but the only mortal known to own one is AshUpquark, who purchased hirs from the Fantastic Deals! Fairy. However, Ash evidently does not know how to use the phone.

FaeFone's default ringtone is a chiptune rendition of "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy". Some fairies have customized their ringtones, such as the Safety Fairy, who uses a chiptune of "Safety Dance" by Men Without Hats.

FaeFone is a direct competitor to the Crystal line of smartphones by AlicornSystems.
